今日は横浜戸塚ライオンズクラブにて、電源開発株式会社（J POWER）横浜磯子発電所に伺いました。日本でも有数の電力会社で国内石炭火力発電出力シェアでは第一位（21%841万kw）、水力発電出力シェア（19%856万kw）、風力発電出力（13%35万kw）と、日本の電力を支えております。2機設置してある中の第二タービンほ日立製作所製との事でしたご、予定出力に達していないとの事で、現在原因究明中とのことでした。この磯子発電所の年間発電量は横浜市内の年間使用電力の1/3をカバー出来る能力をほこるそうです。
また、横浜市と公害防止協定を締結し、排煙脱硫装置を設置して環境保全対策に取り組んでおります。
電力問題は、今後の日本の重要な課題ですので、現実の認識と今後のエネルギー施策をどう進めるのか、確りとした検討が必要ですし、地方からももっと声を発信しなければと思います。
戻ってからは、上矢部小学校PTAの次年度引き継ぎや、入学式時の資料作成となりました。
